Father Larry just put out a new CD for Lent. It's not a new talk - he has had it for awhile - but its now available in pretty packaging and as an MP3 download for really cheap. Anyway, I downloaded it and listened to it twice yesterday. It is quite heart-wrenching. It's one of those that teaches about what the crucifixion was really like. I've heard them before. But Father Larry is such a gifted story teller - he really makes you feel like you're there with Jesus.
I was of course bawling by the end of it. The thing about Father Larry is that he is all about having a real relationship with Jesus, right now. He loves Jesus so much that you remember how much you love Jesus, too. Father Larry's Reason for Our Hope Foundation is my favorite charity, especially because the money donated to his charity is tithed upon again and given to other charities. When I make profit off of Avon, 10% of it goes to the foundation.
