This is the book that Elijah asked me to read to him today.
Both books are by Margaret Wise Brown - is she awesome or what?? There's something about the way she writes that is so poetic even when it doesn't rhyme. I really only read books to the kids that feel good to read out loud, and these books are way up there.

I love those books... duh, you know that! lol I just love Krispin's Krispian from way back and Little Bear is just sweet.
I really like Margaret Wise Brown. I also love Tasha Tudor (her illustrations are quite lovely and from what I've read about her she sounds like an amazing woman). We also like Ruth Heller--very colorful and detailed illustrations and her books on parts of speech are really neat. Matthew loves the book Parts by Tedd Arnold. It's kinda gross but it's neat for a boy. :)
