But God has surrounded me with blessings, with people who love me, and with material blessings, too.
This was from my Mommi. It's a beautiful Sunday missal, with the full text of all the sunday readings, plus lovely pictures and prayers throughout. I have been looking for one like this with no luck. It is so special because it came from my Mom with much love and understanding.

I was also blessed with a few years worth of curriculum, which I can't say thank you enough for. I already started using a few fun, age-appropriate books with the kids. They got mad at me because I only let them do one page each! This is such a huge blessing, and Mommi and I had a lot of fun going through it together. Thank you so much, Michelle! (The beautiful bookcase was a baby shower gift from dear friends my old job when I was pregnant with Boo.)

And thank you also for the computer - it is perfect for the kids to have their own machine for their learning games. Livvy is starting to learn how to use a mouse, and I have Reader Rabbit stuff for Elijah to use. It adds a certain dignity to their room, too. Hey you can also see in the background a beautiful phonics curriculum that Elijah and I will use later, and the adorable Scooby Doo curtains that Nana made for her babies awhile back. And the school desk was a gift from Mommi, the white toy shelf was a cast-off from my job, and the shelves were a cast-off from Nan. Everything in the picture was a gift, including the little princess who was a gift (on loan) from God. Am I blessed??? I THINK SO!!!! :) :) :)

To sum up, THANK YOU to my friends and family, and THANK YOU Jesus for loving me and looking after me!!!

Rachel, isn't the Missal beautiful? When my kids were middle schoolers we began giving them hardback Missals for Easter. I find it helpful for me if I can read the reflections and follow along with the readings.
I am so glad we could be an instrument to God's plan in passing along the computer as well as the curriculum.
Isn't it amazing how things just fall into place when it's all in God's plan? Feels so good to know you're in His waterfall of grace. :)
Hey Rache,
It's easy to give to your own daughter. (and grandbabies in a magical way are your own too)
Mommi
Doesn't it feel good when we take the time to confess all the blessings in our life. The problems seem a lot smaller when we meditate on the good things (Phil 4:8)
Your mom and I have had been given so much over the years, he even provides things you didn't even know you needed !
Here is a verse below that I am starting to appreciate and understand as I see it happening in our lives.
Matthew 19:29 (King James Version)
And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
Dad
Hey Rach,
I put an update on my blog today. Please take a look when you get a chance. It's really long of course, but I am sure you will appreciate it.
