My Mom and I both have busy schedules tomorrow, so we went to see Poppa a day early. He seemed to be doing pretty well today. Afterwards we had lunch and went to the thrift store. Mommi found a juicer for us. The Chief has been requesting one. I tested it out this evening and made strawberry lemonade with some lemons I had on hand and strawberries that were getting ready to go off. It was so good! I used three lemons, 1/3 pound of strawberries, water, and regular sugar to make about a half gallon of lemonade. Not necessarily healthy, but a great treat. Sooo yummy!
Today I am counting my blessings that the little ones are past their sickness. There was a lot of sickness going around, and it was tough for all of us to take turns being sick for almost three weeks total.
Pregnancy Update
Now I am just dealing with the end of pregnancy. I have strong cramps every night and intermittent back pain. The cramps don't hurt very badly, they just feel strong. My official due date - based on a 22 week ultrasound - is May 20th. That's a very late utrasound to base a date on, so it's not very accurate. By contrast, if you took a due date based on my last cycle, you would have a due date of April 27th. Also not accurate - I have long, irregular cycles and was just coming off of lactational ammenorrhea. Mommi is guessing I will go into labor around the 10-12 of May. Me? I have no idea. All three of my labors have been induced, so I feel like I will never go into labor. I like that my due date is so late because they probably won't try to induce me unless something bad happens.
