Our Christmases have been so overwhelming the last few years. I am very gratefulfor the BOUNTY that is poured out on us - honestly, it is wonderful. But I decided to start a new tradition this year. Today was the Feast of the Epiphany - the day that we celebrate the visit of the Wisemen to baby Jesus. I decided to save our children's stockings for this day, whenwe could have a small, low-key celebration. We read the story of the visitation from the book of Matthew, then the children opened their stockings. It was a fun way to stretch out the Christmas holiday for them, and they had more appreciation for the little gifts in their stockings. It was a fun day. So low-key, I forgot to take pictures. Maybe next time ;)
