And In Other News

The doctor (I love Dr. Manning) figures Gabe will be staying in there all the way to his due date, which is next Thusday. If I sound surprised, it is only because our original due date was in April. I knew he wouldn't come in April, but I didn't think he would really wait that long. It's okay, though, because I am not that uncomfortable right now. Ok, my feet are so swollen that my socks cut into my legs, I have perpetual acid reflux, I waddle very slowly, and I have to go to the bathroom every twenty minutes or so. But I'm fine emotionally. I'm centered. My blood pressure is great and I've stopped gaining weight, so I'm totally healthy. There's no reason to be stressed. The doctor said, "Your kids tend to be late (lol she noticed, huh) next week we will talk abut eviction." That  made me laugh so I couldn't stress about it. I guess if it gets to next week, I will just push an induction out as far as they feel comfortable with waiting. Tomorrow is the last day of the semester. After that, I have no responsbilities besides taking care of the kids and the house.

Oh, why do I like Dr. Manning? She knows what she is doing, but she doesn't really act like a doctor. She just talks to you like a person. The first time she walked in, I didn't realize she was "the doctor". She attended the births of both Olivia and Julius, purely by luck. There are a few doctors and a few midwives, and you get whoever is on duty when you give birth. I am fairly comfortable with all of them, and actually, I don't really care who is there when I deliver. I'm the one delivering, and the only other person I am aware of is Lee. Everyone else is basically furniture. Hmm, that sounds mean. But I don't mean it in a bad way, it's just how it is. Hey, maybe it's a good thing. Maybe they're not really "There" because they are doing their jobs right.

Yesterday we celebrated Julius's birthday with Nana. That was way too much fun. Elijah is just dying to be over there hanging out with his bet buds. Luckily summer is coming soon.

Tomorrow we will go to the Greek Festival at the Greek Orthodox Church in Camp Hill. We will pick Nan up from work and head over with her. She pays for all the food as part of Lee's birthday every year. Traditions. Hopefully I will remember the camera. Hopefully there wasn't hail down there!

Well, I should REALLY be doing homework now, not blogging. Ciao.

Glad to hear you're doing well. I saw that Greek Fest today. What is it? Is there a website?
